Unveiling the Writer

Hi, my name is Maya Harris and I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in the spring of 2020. Throughout middle school and high school it took me longer than my peers to discover what I wanted to do with my life, but once I did I never looked back.

When I was younger I spent a lot of time outside, and thought about fantasy lands that would swirl around in my imagination, until I could get words on paper. As I grew up I became fascinated with true crime and finding the truth. Now, I have made it my mission to find the truth and the hidden stories in everything I do. True journalism is something extremely important in this ever changing world, and something I believe I should be a part of.
